Joel Kreisberg
Joel Kreisberg, DC, MA Founder and Senior Director Dr. Kreisberg founded the Teleosis Institute to educate health care professionals about sustainability and environmental integrity. Due to increasing environmental degradation, the role of medicine and health care will increasingly require leadership in developing models of health care that do no harm to the environment while continuing to provide high quality medical care. In addition to his work with Teleosis, Joel is an adjunct faculty member of John F. Kennedy University’s Graduate School of Holistic Studies and an instructor at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medical College. He also serves as the chair of Sustainable Berkeley—an alliance of local business and government leaders. He has been teaching and lecturing worldwide for over 20 years. He completed a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College and a Master of Arts in Integral Ecology from Prescott College.
