Also known as
Alda Teodorani, italiian writer and translator, native of Lugo (Ravenna, Italy) lives in Massa Lombarda, and works in Rome, where she teaches creative writing at Scuola Internazionale di Comics. She’s part of a wave of Italian writers called the “young cannibals” (described by some as bringing a “punk meets horror splatter sensibility” to fiction). In addition to works of horror she's known for her thrillers and erotic fiction. She’s sat on panels with Dario Argento, had introductions to her novels written by Valerio Evangelisti, and thrived in a male-dominated genre. Since 1990, she have published novels and short stories with the most important italian editors. She’s been a member on the scientific commitee of Convegno Roma Noir at La Sapienza University of Rome and on the Prize Attilio Micheluzzi for the comic books.
