Elizabeth Canning

An English maidservant who claimed to have been kidnapped and held against her will in a hayloft for almost a month. She ultimately became central to one of the most famous English criminal mysteries of the 18th century (<a href=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elizabeth_Canning>Wikipedia</a>).
