John Worsley Simpson was a journalist for donkey's years. He likes good music (real music): jazz, classical, show tunes, American songbook; he loves good books, especially the classics; and he enjoys lots of other stuff, especially dogs, cats and kids. John is the author of half a dozen mysteries and a couple of other things. His first novel was runner-up to Kathy Reichs's Déjà Dead in the best first novel category of the Crime Writers of Canada Arthur Ellis Awards for 1997. He lives in Barrie, Ontario, with his long-suffering wife and neurotic dog, Measha.-Amazon
