Brian R. Anderson

Before becoming a children's book author, Brian worked a variety of jobs, including census taker, hazardous waste operations, and backstage security at rock concerts. From 2005 to 2011 he taught chemistry at the University of Texas, and currently works as an educational consultant in science. In his spare time he watches old movies, cooks food that nobody else will eat, and makes custom piñatas. Brian is also a Star Wars stormtrooper in the 501st Legion. Although Brian and his family are all lifelong Earthlings, Brian's older daughter is named after one of Neptune's moons. Brian has one wife, two daughters, six cats, and 17,306 comic books.
