Fred S. Armentrout
Fred S. Armentrout has been a writer, editor and publisher his entire working life. Following eight years in New York, he has worked in magazine and book creation in Hong Kong for about 30 years and, in that time, has written, edited and caused to be published over 30 books on Asian arts and cultures, business topics, politics and societies, and travel guides. Besides books, Armentrout has written over 400 articles for magazines and newspapers, including for the International Herald Tribune, The Asian Wall Street Journal, Fortune and The Far Eastern Economic Review. He is the recipient of two writing awards, 15 magazine or newspaper editing awards and two association publishing awards.
