In the Centraal Museum Utrecht is the doll's house that Petronella de la Court (1624-1707) put together in the seventies of the seventeenth century. Then it stood in the large front room of the house of the De Swaen brewery on the Singel in Amsterdam: this room was also an art room and was full of cabinets, porcelain, all kinds of rarities and collections. The art room in the dollhouse is a miniature reflection of this. In this book, visit the eleven rooms of Petronella? S show dollhouse, a time capsule from the seventeenth century. In het Centraal Museum Utrecht prijkt het poppenhuis dat Petronella de la Court (1624-1707) samenstelde in de jaren zeventig van de zeventiende eeuw. Toen stond het in de grote voorkamer van het woonhuis van brouwerij De Swaen aan het Singel in Amsterdam: dit vertrek was tevens een kunstkamer en stond vol met kabinetten, porselein, allerlei rariteiten en verzamelingen.
