Con un énfasis hacia los llamados pueblos aislados, tema que se aborda también en este libro, los primeros miembros de esta organización arribaron a Colombia hace más de 60 años y la representante más mencionada en diversas fuentes fue Sophie Muller, quie es reconocida como el agente que mayor cambio cultural produjo entre los indígenas de la zona trifronteriza de Colombia Venezuela y Brasil.
