Description
This publication contains the full text of Resolution No. 35 (TRANS/SC.3/141), adopted by the UNECE Working Party on Inland Water Transport in 1996. It includes the corrections made to the text in 1997 by document TRANS/SC.3/141/Corr.1. The original text was first printed in 1997 (ECE/TRANS/NONE/97/92). The Standardized UNECE Vocabulary for Radio-Connections was prepared with a view to improving the safety of navigation and the piloting of vessels, and standardizing the vocabulary used for communications in inland navigation. It is not intended to replace, or conflict with, the European Code for Inland Waterways (CEVNI) or special local regulations. Nor is it intended to replace current radiotelephonic practices as set out in the Radio Regulations published by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).--Publisher's description
