Description

This work, signed by Spanish poet and critic Adolfo Montejo Navas, gathers nine essays written uninterrupted between the years of 2002 and 2008 about the work of gaucha artist Regina Silveira. The work of the artist from Porto Alegre, known for her explorations of the perspective and projected shadows, includes the use of various materials and media (photographs, paintings, drawings, objects, videos, installations, projections) and is based on her reflections about the nature of images and illusionistic spaces. This compilation of texts comprises a poetic reflection on the work of Regina Silveira and seeks a articulate script that escapes the definitive readings and interpretations, hence the title "O Outro Lado da Imagem".(the other side of the image).
