Description

Laine Sibley returns home to be near her estranged sister dying of cancer and her young niece. She is surprised when her sister asks her to take care of Becca after she dies. Laine, struggling with faith issues and the need for forgiveness, finds support from her new neighbor, Jeff Rice following her sister’s death. But her life unravels when she realizes she is tangled in a con-man’s plot. Jeff senses Laine suspects him of involvement in the scam. Caught in his own web of intrigue, Jeff cannot tell her the truth about himself. If he does, she could be in serious danger. And when pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place, will Jeff’s final piece make Laine’s world complete or end it altogether?
