Description
The Great and Terrible is a series of 6 books written by Chris Stewart. It follows several fictional people from the pre-existence, or life before we were born here on earth, through some of the last days before Christ's second coming and after the death of a couple of the characters. It is fiction, but some of what is described is also true. The series shows a possible way that would bring about the final war before the second coming and how people react to it. This is an 'edge of your seat' series of books!!! The author is a former test pilot for the US air force and holds several records for flying the first flights of many military aircraft, so the flying scenes of the military jets and helicopters are very real, and VERY exciting! There are great things that happen, and terrible things that happen, and by the time you're done with the first book, you can't wait to read the rest of them. By the time you finish all 6 books, you'll have some thinking to do about what you would do in the same situations. I've read most of what this author has written and there isn't a single book that isn't worth reading!
