Description
Een eeuw geleden opende het St. Antonius Ziekenhuis zijn deuren aan de Prins Hendriklaan in Utrecht. Het werd gesticht door aartsbisschop Van de Wetering. Het Antonius was een vooraanstaand katholiek ziekenhuis dat in medisch opzicht zijn tijd ver vooruit was. Het longstation (opgericht in 1942) en het hartteam (actief sinds 1948) kunnen zich al meer dan een halve eeuw meten met de beste academische centra. Dit boek, het vervolg op het in 2000 verschenen 'Heilig Vuur', behandelt de Utrechtse jaren van het ziekenhuis (tot 1982) in vogelvlucht.
