Description

Jo Hewitt, known as Scatterbrains to all her family and friends did not seem on the face of it to be the stuff from which good nurses are made. But there had already been two generations of nurses from her family at St. Magnus's Hospital, and Jo knew how bitterly disappointed her mother and grandmother would be if she did not keep up the tradition. So she bravely took the plunge. She soon found that she had been right to be apprehensive. Absentmindedness and carelessness became major crimes when a patient's well being is at stake, as Jo found to her cost. In fact things might have become altogether too much for her, had it not been for the help of a certain charming house surgeon - and his motives for befriending her were anything but clear!
