As also a Collection of the most material Passages in the several Blasphemous, Ly- ing, Flattering Addresses, (being 94 in number) which were sent to the afore- said Person, with the Places from whence, and most Eminent Persons from and by whom they came, and were presented. Taken out of the Second and Fifth Dayes (Heathen-like, called Monday and his Death, till the Dissolution of the Protectoral Government. With some other remarkable Passages relating to the late Apo- stacy, worthy the taking notice of. Together with something spoken to each Company of the Adressers se- verally in their turn, who have (many of them) so largely Promised to stand by his Person and Government with their Lives, Estates, and all that is Dear unto them, against all Opposers; and yet in the Day of his just Abasement from the Lord, have left him to shift for himself: viz. I. To the late Councel. 2. The Officers of the Armies. 3. Tho. Goodwin, and his hundred Congregations, with other Independent, and Baptized Churches. 4. The Sea Commanders. 5. The Lord Major, Aldermen, and Militia Officers of the City of London. 6. The Parochial Ministers of London and Southwark. 7. The Sheriffs, Knights, Justi- ces, Majors, Aldermen, Common Councel, Ministers, &c. of the several Coun- ties, Cities, Towns, Corporations, &c. in England, Scotland, and Ireland. Wherein also is mentioned, That Collonel Leigh Governour of Waterford in Ire- land, casheer'd his Ensign for refusing to be present when the aforesaid Richard Cromwel was Proclaim'd Protector in that Town. ...
