Phenomenology = felt experience. Memorable architectural moods are familiar to all of us. A certain picture has left its mark on our memory, a particular combination of place and building, of nature or landscape and constructed object, of outside space and inside space. Maybe a room, a sequence of rooms, a building, a square in the city... The remembered picture speaks of great intensity and presence. Something unique that makes the impression of having been perfectly formed to match a particular use and a particular place...
