Description

"Developmental Games for the Physically Handicapped Child" is a 64-page, illustrated resource guide designed specifically for teachers of physically handicapped students. The book describes games intended to provide social and physical stimulation. Included are: sensory motor stories appropraite for young pupil participation activities; swing ball games, which require an overhead attachment; string ball games, which are suitable for pupils who can propel missles to some extent; partner games; wheel chair games; and combination games, in which components of the previously described games are combined in various ways. The book also describes the equiptment and facilities necessary for appropriate use of the games.
