Description
Basing their work on extensive study of Classic Mimbres Culture ceramics of 11th-12th century Mesoamerica, a New Mexico family of illustrators speculates on the origins of this "lost" people. Through analysis of digitally-enhanced color images of their distinctive figurative artwork, they support the theory that historic and modern southwestern Pueblo peoples have artistic and belief system links to the Mimbres.
