Description
This book deals with the endeavours of King Wilhelm I of Wuerttemberg to improve the vineyards and the winemaking in his country. He encouraged experiments in his own provate vineyards in order to set an example for the vintners in Wuerttemberg. But as those people were generally rather poor it took a long time before they followed the king's suggestions.
