At a General Assembly of the governor and company of the state of Connecticut, holden at Hartford, (by special order of his excellency the governor) on the 29th day of November, A.D. 1780

Resolved ... that for the defence of the posts of Horseneck, and other parts of this state, there be immediately raised five hundred and seventy-five able bodied effective men ...
