Description
"Provides information about cotton mill plants and communities throughout the south, with an emphasis on North and South Carolina. Advertisements and news updates are included at the beginning and end of the bulletin, which is primarily concerned with describing specific mills around the region. Each mill entry includes general information such as descriptions of the facilities, what is manufactured, improvements made to the mill, houses, and other buildings, recreational and educational opportunities, pay, opportunities for promotion, employee happiness, and the modern amenities planned or currently in place. A Mill-Buyer's index at the end lists materials important in operating mills, along with companies that sell products in each category."
