An etwa 50 Exponaten aus der Sammlung Rau zeigen Ausstellung und Katalog Entwicklungen der Landschaftsmalerei bis in die Moderne: von Fra Angelico bis Claude Monet; von den überweltlichen goldenen Himmeln des Mittelalters zu fantastischen irdischen Höllenprospekten der Renaissance über barocke Stimmungslandschaften zu arkadischen Idyllen des 18. Jahrhunderts, vorbei an romantischen Naturgewalten hin zu den Impressionisten, die den Moment im Fluss der Zeit festhielten. Exhibition: Arp Museum, Bahnhof Rolandseck (18.3-18.9.2011).
