In the Finnish Glass Museum Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985), a leading light in the Finnish industrial arts and a designer of objects that became classics, got a chance to realize his vision of a museum as a total artwork. Nowadays, the building houses a living museum that attracts tourists and experts from around the world.
