Gotta keep on tryin'

Description

"Lifelong best friends Gayle Saunders and Patricia Reid are running a successful doll company they built from scratch. But as their business has flourished in the last five years, their personal lives have paid the price. Pat adores her husband Marcus, a former professional athlete, but they struggle to make time for each other, let alone the possibility of starting a family. When a teenager shows up unexpectedly on their doorstep claiming to be Marcus's daughter, the challenge they face tests their marriage to the limit. Gayle has never really gotten over the gambling ex-husband who left her in financial ruin. Now their angr, rebellious daughter Vanessa is growing distant, and when she begins to replace her love of dance with the love of a man she hardly knows, Gayle worries that she's losing all control. Gayle and Pat have always had each other, but the bonds of their friendship are straining under pressure. Can the little company they poured their hearts into survive if everything else falls apart?"--Page 4 of cover.
