Description
Oliver Johnson informs William Lloyd Garrison that the "City Society" proposes to hold an anti-slavery meeting on the Sunday between the Temperance Convention and the Women's Rights convention, and inquires Garrison's opinion on the matter. Johnson states that as Lucy Stone, Wendell Phillips, and Garrison will already all be in the city during this timeframe, it would be sensical to make a "grand demonstration" for the anti-slavery cause.
