I bet you haven't met a little girl like me. My name is Angelina. I was born deaf and blind, and the doctors gave me absolutely 0% chance to live forty-eight hours. Yet here I am, almost nine years later...I'm not only not deaf nor blind, but you have to read my story to find out what else God has done for me. My parents, Lacey and Pat, anxiously awaited my arrival. Although I had been tucked away from the world in my mother's belly, I was far from safe. What my family did not know was that I had taken a blow from the devil. No one knew...how could they? So when the day came for my appearance, the battle took them totally off guard. Although I was one of the prettiest babies ever born (I learned later from non-partial people, of course), I was born without a brain past the brain stem. They called it a stroke. That is the blow from the devil I told you about. It stole the life right out of those cells. The doctors said it was inevitable--in just a few moments I would be moving to heaven. I was deaf and blind, none of my five senses worked, and in just moments there was a 100% assurance that my vital organs would cease as well. But somehow, in the midst of all the crying, God moved....
