Description
Dall'altro, partendo dalla prospettiva teorica propria -- ibs.it website August 20, 2018, when Greece's third economic adjustment program ended, symbolically marked the end of nearly a decade of crisis and bailout plans. However, despite more than ten years having passed since the start of the Eurozone crisis, the countries of Southern Europe have not yet fully recovered. The consequences of the crisis are, to a certain extent, still visible, and not only from the point of view of economic legacies: think of phenomena such as the birth of protest parties, the growing Euroscepticism expressed by various sectors of public opinion, the succession of phases of political instability, the contraction of the welfare state. The contribution of this volume is twofold. On the one hand, the decision-making process in the six countries considered (Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Malta, Spain, Portugal) is analyzed with respect to a series of important reforms to the institutional architecture of the Eurozone negotiated in the context of the crisis. On the other, starting from one's own theoretical perspective
