Description

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Sweden presents a 2000 report of the Swedish-Russian Working Group about the fate of the Swedish businessman and diplomat Raoul Wallenberg (1912-1947?). The diplomat worked to rescue Hungarian Jews during the Holocaust, designing a Swedish protection passport and offering Jews refuge. Wallenberg was taken to Soviet headquarters when the Soviet troops occupied Hungary in 1945 and never returned. The report is available in PDF format.
