Return (in part) to an order of the honourable the House of commons, dated 28 April 1898; for, return "for England and Wales, giving (1) the number of children attending elementary schools who are known to be working for wages" ... and, "(2) the different classes of employment into which the boys and girls attending elementary schools in England and Wales went on leaving school during some complete year ..."
