Description

The edition compiles Norberto Puzzolo's (b. Rosario 1948) career: his early works and formal concerns, his fundamental role in the Argentinean avant-garde movement of the 1960s -which milestone is the collective experience Tucumán Arde-, the images of politicized reality in Argentine the years leading up to the coup d' état of 1976, and his most recent series that stress the photographic language with his own life and political experiences. The book "is organized around two main nuclei: the first one is composed of an important corpus of reflections by Ana Longoni, María Elena Lucero, Rubén Chababo, Rodrigo Alonso and Adriana Lauria, who deal with the different stages of the artist's production. The second nucleus reproduces two historical essays that have contributed an insightful perspective on Puzzolo's photography series: "Photography Works" (1993) by Eleonora Traficante and "Beyond Photography" (1985) by Nicolás Rosa." --Verso Cover.
