Description
A study was conducted on two tailing sites at the Tennant Creek Golfield, Northern Territory Australia, to determine the mobility of cyanide and trace elements. Subsequently, soil samples were analyzed by the inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry method (ICP-MS). As a result, it was found that cyanide contained in old tailings caused the mobility of Mo, Au, Co, Cu, as well as other trace elements.
