The author Vijay Singh is a well-known Indian writer, film-maker and screenplay writer living in Paris, France. Some of his other works are the books Jaya Ganga, In Search of the River Goddess (also published in French) The River Goddess (also published in French, Dutch and German) and La Nuit Poignardée (in French), and the films One Dollar Curry and Jaya Ganga (Jaya, Fille du Gange).
