Description
곽재우郭再祐와 의병이 창의倡義한 사적인 ｢입성동고록入城同苦錄｣과 ｢용사창의록龍蛇倡義錄｣을 합쳐 후손 곽원갑郭元甲이 정리한 책이다. ｢화왕수성도火旺守城圖｣ㆍ｢용사응모록龍蛇應募錄｣ㆍ｢화왕입성동고록火旺入城同苦錄｣으로 구성되어 있다. ｢용사응모록｣에는 의병장 곽재우를 비롯하여 군무 17명, 의병 289명의 이름ㆍ호ㆍ생년ㆍ거주지ㆍ창의지倡義地 등이 기록되어 있고, ｢화왕입성동고록｣에는 1597년 입성하여 성을 수호한 559명의 이름과 관직이 기록되어 있다. 임진왜란 때 의병의 활동상을 살필 수 있는 자료이다. 조현명趙顯命의 서문과 김시형金始炯의 발문이 있다.
