Description

George Thompson writes from Boston to William Lloyd Garrison who is out of town. Thompson regrets not being able to be on the trip with Garrison due to his poor health, but says Garrison can put his mind at ease regarding the Liberator because he has been working on it. Thompson predicts that ́much good ́ would come from Garrison?s upcoming meeting with president [Lincoln], and expresses his gratification regarding the development involving the [thirteenth] amendment to the constitution.
