Description
L'Istituto Superiore per la Conservazione e il Restauro (IsCR), organo tecnico del Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali, ha individuato la Galleria Doria Pamphilj come modello per la definizione delle linee guida relative alla corretta manutenzione di collezioni e raccolte museali. La collaborazione tra IsCR e Galleria Doria Pamphilj, avviata sin dal 1997, si è nel corso degli anni concretizzata nel restauro di 70 opere interessanti come tipologia di degrado e per le quali erano necessari interventi immediati effettuati, nel corso della normale attività didattica, dagli allievi dell'IsCR sotto la guida di restauratori esperti, autori delle schede tecniche costitutive del catalogo. Il restauro non è stato occasione solo di una azione conservativa delle opere della Galleria, ma anche di un loro rinnovato e approfondito studio, concretizzatosi anche in nuove attribuzioni.
