Description
Die Ausstellung "Täuschend echt. Die Kunst des Trompe-l'oeil", betreut von Gastkuratorin Bärbel Hedinger, bietet einen historischen Überblick von der Antike bis heute. Rund sechzig Werke aus deutschen und internationalen Sammlungen repräsentieren das Spektrum dieser wundersamen Kunst stupender Verblüffung, darunter neben antiken Mosaiken, mittelalterlichen Handschriften und Naturabgüssen auch die berühmten "Augentäuscher"--Gemälde des 17. Jahrhunderts von Samuel van Hoogstraten oder Cornelius Gijsbrechts. Gezeigt werden darüber hinaus Werke unter anderem von Lucas Cranach d. Ä. und Jean-Baptiste Siméon Chardin, Gemälde und Skulpturen von Pop Art-Künstlern wie Andy Warhol und Jasper Johns. Ausstellung: Bucerius Kunst Forum, Hamburg, 13.2.-24.5.2010.
