[A collection of traditions, with a commentary, entitled Nayl al-awṭār, by Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Shawkānī. Accompanied, on the margin, by a commentary entitled ʿAwn al-bārī, by Muḥammad Ṣiddīq Ḥasan Khān, on Aḥmad ibn Aḥmad al-Sharjī al-Zubaydī's abridgment of the Ṣaḥīḥ, or collection of traditions, of al-Bukhārī. Preceded by two lives of al-Shawkānī, the former from his own work entitled al-Badr al-ṭāliʿ, the latter by Ḥusayn ibn Muḥsin al-Subʿī ; and a life of Muḥammad Ṣiddīq Ḥasan Khān also by al-Subʿī.].
