Description
"In this artist's book Douglas Gordon has self-reflectively processed his conceptual approach, which is always aimed at the viewer as an artistic subject. The always identical hard shot of his own face after a 'demolished night' - inclusive of a laceration - is confronted with a minimalist prose. It dives into the depth of this wounded face/this seemingly wounded psyche, sometimes the drugs are mentioned, then the feelings, the jokes ... the combinations are left to chance."
