Description

Perfect for kids and those young at heart this box set contains three classic stories by the much-loved and often copied Eva Ibbotson. Travel to the Amazon jungle with Maia as she starts a new life after the death of her parents. Visit the haunted Clawstone Castle as brother and sister Rollo and Madlyn try to rescue the legendary wild white cattle with the assistance of a team of impressive phantoms. And then go through the secret door at platform 13 of Kings Cross station and discover the magical island where the mission to rescue a stolen prince introduces you to a wizard, an ogre, a fey and a young hag. All the stories are full of brilliantly eccentric characters that only Eva Ibbotson could invent. Read with enthusiasm, creativity and humour.
