1. whether a letter of credit was given on La Banque de Paris et des Pays-Bas or any other banking institution to buy books for the library ; 2. at what date this letter of credit was given ; 3. in whose favor the letter of credit was given ; 4. what was the amount, whether the amount has been paid or charged to government account ; 5. whether any of the money has been drawn or spent for that purpose ; 6. by whom it has been drawn or spent ; 7. whether any account of the expenditure of this money has been rendered ; 8. whether the government has received any books ; 9. whether the government has received any account for books purchased ; 10. whether any order in Council authorizing the issue of this letter of credit was passed and what is the date thereof
