Summary: Publié à l'occasion de l'exposition présentée du 20 janvier au 2 mai 2010 à la Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine à Paris. Parallèlement à l'oeuvre construite de Claude Parent - Maison de l'Iran à la Cité universitaire de Paris, église Sainte-Bernadette du Banlay à Nevers, centres commerciaux, centrales nucléaires pour EDF -, se développe l'oeuvre graphique. L'exposition dont le présent catalogue rend compte exploite la mine d'archives, notamment maquettes et dessins, conservées par le FRAC Centre et l'Institut français d'architecture. Elle s'attache aussi à mettre à jour les influences affichées ou non des idées de Parent dans le travail d'autres architectes, dont Rem Koolhaas, Snohetta ou Zaha Hadid...
