George Thompson writes Garrison announcing that after "travelling 1173 miles" since having left Boston, he has arrived in Chicago, where is staying at the Sherman House. Thompson informs Garrison if his intention to see some of Wisconsin and Iowa, as well as stopping in St. Louis and Cincinnati, prior to returning to Boston for his December 8th engagement.
