ABSTRACT: A soil evaluation was required to provide information about the soils and landforms along a proposed pipeline route to assist in soil conservation planning for pipeline construction. This document discussed the concerns related to completing winter soil evaluations, and provided procedures, alternatives, and suggested guidelines to alleviate concerns.
