《道德經》（繁體中文：道德經；簡體中文：道德經）或稱“老子”，是一部中國古典文獻，也是道教的奠基之作。傳統上，人們認為其作者、成書日期及編纂年代尚有爭議。目前出土最古老的部分可追溯至西元前4世紀晚期。 《道德經》是道教哲學和宗教思想的核心，對中國哲學和宗教實踐產生了深遠的影響。它通常被認為早於另一部道教核心著作《莊子》。這81首詩構成了一部東方經典，其神秘和道德教義深刻地影響了許多宗教的聖典。 ---------- *The Tao Te Ching* (traditional Chinese: 道德經; simplified Chinese: 道德经) or *Laozi* is a Chinese classic text and foundational work of Taoism traditionally credited to the sage Laozi, though the text's authorship and date of composition and compilation are debated. The oldest excavated portion dates to the late 4th century BC. The *Tao Te Ching* is central to both philosophical and religious Taoism, and has been highly influential to Chinese philosophy and religious practice in general. It is generally taken as preceding the Zhuangzi, the other core Taoist text. These 81 poems comprise an Eastern classic, the mystical and moral teachings of which have profoundly influenced the sacred scriptures of many religions.
