Description
The book compiles records and statements of the main architects who collaborated or participated for the formation of the city of Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of portraying the great urban diversity present in the city and promoting the valorization of architecture and urban planning of the metropolis. The work has testimonials from 18 architects and urban planners and a small tribute to former mayor and architect Luiz Paulo Conde, in addition to the contribution of 10 other professionals in the area. Other architects who contributed to the book include: Álvaro Siza Vieira; Alder Catunda; Priscilla Chiesse; Roberto Nascimento; Andreatta Verena; Octavian Henry Kings; Lula Carvalho and Luciene Ruiz.
