Cast a deadly shadow

Description

Four men went up into the mountains in search of a lost mine. Only one came back - insane with fear. Old Colonel Fogarty wanted to know what happened. No one seemed willing to find out, except his daughter, Rachel. She was joined by the colonel's mean-tempered surveyor, Harvey Wheeler, two locals with their own larcenous plans...and Jason Hart, a stranger whose job was 'chasing shadows'. But what were his intentions when the mountain's dark secrets were finally unlocked?
