Description

Oliver Johnson informs William Lloyd Garrison that Cheever has agreed to speak at the upcoming meeting, and that he will be be speaking on the subject of "Hyatt's case". Johnson requests that Garrison forward to him the final draft of the convention resolutions to be printed. Johnson congratulates Garrison on his upcoming trip to England to speak on behalf of the anti-slavery position, and inquires if he might be able to join Phillips and Tilton in addressing the "City Society" at its last meeting prior to Garrison's departure.
