History of the Österreich/Bokemeyer collection of music (Sammlung Österreich/Bokemeyer, known as Sammlung Bokemeyer) held at Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, Germany, started in the 17th century by conductor and composer Georg Österreich, who then bequeathed it to his student, cantor Heinrich Bokemeyer, who added to it. Also addresses the Swedish Düben Collection, started by the Düben family in the 17th century and now held by Uppsala University Library in Uppsala, Sweden.
