hearing before the Committee on Naval Affairs, United States Senate, Seventy-sixth Congress, first session, on S. 589, a bill authorizing the secretary of the Navy to provide for the construction of a vessel to be furnished to the state of Massachusetts for the benefit of the Massachusetts Nautical school, and for other purposes; S. 1644, a bill to amend the act entitled "An act for establishment of marine schools, and for other purposes", approved March 4, 1911 (36 Stat. 1353; 34 U.S.C. 1122), so as to authorize an appropriation of $50,000 annually to aid in the maintenance and support of marine schools; and S. 2190, a bill authorizing the secretary of the Navy to provide for the construction of a vessel to be furnished to the state of California for the benefit of the California Nautical school, and for other purposes.
