Description

The book about Peder Stougaard and his dual work as a poster collector and visual artist is the story of a firebrand and his lifelong dream of a museum. Author and art historian Lise Seisbøll has gone behind the story, which stretches over more than half a century, and draws a nuanced panorama of a changing cultural field in a series of colorful shots. The result is a richly illustrated narrative with detours to some of the currents that graphically and artistically influenced the creation of the collection that today forms the very foundation of the Danish Poster Museum.
